BIOGRAPHY :
Dubamix is an electro-dub live act mixing heavy bass, saxophone, and a wide range of samples with revolutionary lyrics. Their powerful and eclectic sound moves freely between dub, rockers, electro-cumbia, drum’n’bass and techno.
Active since 2003, Dubamix carries a strong antifascist, internationalist and anticapitalist message, rooted in DIY culture and political struggles.
The band has played more than 200 shows across Europe, including major festivals (Fusion, No Logo, Seasplash, Alta Felicità…) and numerous tours in Italy. In 2019, Dubamix toured the Balkans alongside the anarcho-rock brass band JOKE, with shows in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (Mostar).
Dubamix has also collaborated with major artists from the Balkan scene and received airplay on many French and international radio stations (France Inter, FIP, RFI, Radio Nova, as well as radios in Italy, the USA, Canada and Mexico).
